Kwan is the Founder and Director of Systema USA. He started his martial arts journey over 40 years ago in Shotokan Karate and progressed to Chinese Gung Fu, Indonesian Pencak Silat, and Philipino Martial Arts.
In 2001, Kwan became certified in Russia to teach Systema by the Founders Vladimir Vasiliev and Mikhail Ryabko and is considered by them as “one of the top instructors of Systema.

Martin Wheeler Martin Wheeler is recognized as one of the world’s leading hand-to-hand combat masters. An expert in the Russian martial art Art of Systema as-well-as a range of the world’s most deadly martial arts. He is fourth degree black belt in Kenpo Karate, a black belt in Judo, has studied Filipino weapon fighting and boxing.

Ryo Onishi, the head instructor at Systema Osaka, has been training since 2006 with the founders of Systema, Mikhail Ryabko and Vladimir Vasiliev, in Moscow, Toronto, Tokyo, and Osaka.
With over 20 years of martial arts experience in Kendo, Judo, and Bujinkan Taijutsu prior to his Systema training, Ryo brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his teachings.
